Terms of use
Last updated: May 19, 2026
These are the basic rules for using Macroji. By using the site, you agree to them. They are short on purpose.
What Macroji is
Macroji is a free, browser-based tool that helps people who already track their macros decide what to eat next. It runs in your browser and is provided as a convenience.
Not medical or nutrition advice
Macroji is for general informational and educational use only. It is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, registered dietitian or qualified coach. Do not use Macroji to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Always speak to a qualified professional before making changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication.
Accuracy of the food data
Macros for foods come from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) FoodData Central database. We do our best to keep this data clean and accurate, but we cannot guarantee it is free of errors. Real-world foods vary in size, ripeness, brand and cooking method, so the numbers shown should always be treated as a close estimate rather than an exact measurement.
Use at your own risk
You use Macroji at your own risk. The tool is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Macroji and the people behind it are not responsible for any loss or harm — including health outcomes, lost data, or any other damages — that may result from your use of the site or your reliance on what it shows you.
Things you agree not to do
- Don't try to break, overload or attack the site.
- Don't scrape, copy or republish the food data or the tool's output as your own product.
- Don't use Macroji in a way that breaks any applicable law.
Our content
The Macroji name, logo, design, written content and code are owned by the project and protected by copyright and trademark. You may not reuse them without permission. The underlying USDA food data is in the public domain and credited to the USDA.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When that happens, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by email will be handled in the appropriate courts of Georgia.
